RI & Eastern CT Big Bike Drop-o-rama

I didn't see it either. It has always been in May. I emailed the club and got a reply that it's Sept, 8th this year. I was afraid they bailed on it.

It really is one of the nicest spots I have ever camped in at an event and it was free.

MalayznSenzashn, a bunch of us big bike/slow pokes will be around Sunday, so come on down! I've also got a couple of easy dirt road and backroad tarmac routes that I'd be happy to share. PM me your email.

...and I just wanted to say, this was a great shot you got of the group at the end of Blitzkrieg Trail.

ha, that's when I tried to scoot up the side to let Rob know that CBJBEL (or however his screen name is spelled) had broken off from the group to head home but I got stuck on a rock midway..

Anyone interested in a loop starting out at the Dunkin Donuts
at the intersection of Rt6 and Rt102 on Sunday?

I have a 50 mile loop planned that will go around Barden, and up to
Pulaski and then back to Rt 6.

Should be nice ride with some interesting bits, that if you don't like we
can go around. Plan to try Elbow Rock Rd which is new to me.
The most challenging bit would Wille Woodhead road...

I may be able to make it if I can get my lawn mower back together (not for the ride).

Just so everyone knows, the Sunoco at 6 & 102 is under renovations so plan your top-offs accordingly, either north on 102 in Chepachet, west on Rte 6 in Foster or east on Rte 6 in Johnston.

If I wasnt riding the loop at 830, I'd do the BB cruise. GL.

I'm gonna try to make it down tomorrow...still trying to catch up from last weekend's CNR.

Al and I are going to ride the Easy Loop tomorrow at 10. Start with the southern loop and then probably skip Mt Misery on the north loop.

Hey I am in CT near Norwich. I would like to tag along on one of your next rides. At the moment i am not set up for off road [no skid plate] but that should change soon
