Trans Amazon Rally?

    Trying to find some info on this with not much luck, looks to have been only held once, had 11 out of 71 finishers, the race had huge financial troubles but after the entrants paid an exta 150k it was back on. there should be a book on this somewhere!

    sounds sort of like the Camel Trophy series...only that was with Land Rovers.

    The documentary of it was "Racers Of A Distant Dream" I used to get it at BlockBuster. Haven't seen it in years, but yeah, it was a one shot deal. Too bad, I loved that movie, hopefully I'll find it someday.

    It's from 1988,here's the KLR600 I setup intending to enter on. It has the Exploration Society Sticker on the side plate.
