OK folks, it's all in the working......believe me, if I could make it go faster I would but remember, a lot of stuff that is being done to get this under way is being done by volunteers that have offered up support to help. That in itself is awesome and it will all be revealed over time.

First thing - Logo and design work is well under way, your all going to love it!
Web-site should be up within the next week or so.
Support packages are being worked up right now.
Everything will be launched through the web-site and will be linked into this thread.

Most importantly, there will be lots of cool swag to be had so get saving! :thumb

It's never too early to start the preparation right?

Well, Dirt Tricks have stepped forwards and offered their support for this effort. I have been using Dirt Tricks sprockets on all my bikes for a number of years now, KTM950, EXC's and my CRF motocross bike with fantastic results, even here in the UK where things get really grim and grindy! You can check them out here http://www.dirttricks.com/ordering_sprockets.htm

Can a sprocket be over engineered? I don't believe so, in my opinion, the chain manufacturers need to start and catch up. Top quality stuff from dirt tricks and it is slowly making it's way into the UK too, available through www.adventure-spec.com

This is not the best of it though, the Factory Rally bike has a completely different front sprocket to all other KTM's, "no problem" he says, fire me the details and we'll knock some together for you. That's right, a special run for the Factory bike. Top job!

Huge thank you to Nate at Dirt Tricks for pulling this off so quickly.

So, I bring you, the first (of many others I'm sure), special bits for Pyndon's Factory 450RR

As I sit here in my hotel (away on business) I stress about all the things I need to do, the people I need to contact and the dots I need to join up......nothing to do with my work, all to do with Dakar and the year ahead.

Then I just reflected on all the things that have happened since I last logged on and realised this is due a huge update. Loved reading through all the comments, great to be getting so many people on board. I promise you will not be disappointed with what you get in return as a supporter, this is not just about Dakar, there will be lots of reallt cool stuff in the run up too.

I just sent the equivalent of a years worth of mortgage payment off, not for the Dakar but for the FIM World Cross Country round of Sardegna (Sardinia), all part of the Dakar preparations. If anything will get my road book skills challenged and more importantly, improved, this will.

This coming week I will update on all the decisions, progress and actions that have been happening of late so keep yours eyes on it.

For now, have a great weekend, I'll report back when i get a bit more time in the week. Currently it feels like 40% work, 50% Dakar / Racing and 20% sleep. I know that adds up to 110% but seriously, that's what it feels like I am putting in right now. This IS going to work!

Keep me informed with the swag.
As I said BDG Azzy Dave Ian and myself are serious about seeing you at the Dakar so keep us informed if you can ref sailing costs etc as I'm seeing ridiculous quotes on here.
