Finally back to a computer with a couple ride photos.
Unfortunately my "adv" camera finally bit the dust at the most opportune moment, right as Andre was baby seal'ing it out of the water. Bummer...

Kevin about to show Andre and I the correct line...

Kevin making the save in the mud (don't ask how long it took him to realize the strap had broken part way back and Andre wasn't behind him:D)

Good times, Thanks Andre for making it happen

Talked to Kow last night, he claims that isn't his, he hasn't converted the 950 yet but wants too... Also he is running a custom 16" wide ski on the 520 says he can slay anything now... Meeting him in GR this eve, I'll get more beta

Nope, I'm a cheapskate trying to pay his house off. A 19 year old XR is just fine.

Do you have any time constraints? My house goes up for re-rent August 1, so I want to be in SLC around that time to take care of any renter bullshit, then bail to ride.

Sounds good. I will know later this week what dates would work best. I don't have a schedule anymore, for the most part, and could take a month off and ride to Nicaragua if need be.

Why yes indeed. I've been on the split board for many years. Invented by Kowboy/Joe Motocross who has the big KTM snowbike.

After seeing these pictures here, Harcus decided to put his 500 to a test. Will it float or not ?

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/atjd1uQDlp0?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Conclusion: KTMs don't float

What, no pics of the exorcism? The really amazing thing was removing the water & how quickly it went. 30 min max! I pulled the air filter n plug, the guys tipped the bike up, we ran the bike round n round for a few minutes to empty it out, reassembled & she-bang, it was running! The biggest issue was getting all the water out of the oily filter. Even after multiple wring outs it was later to haunt us with a few persistent drops. Fano got the last ones out about 10 miles down river. Quite a production!

    Adventure ! :D
