Went out on Friday and the tires seemed to work pretty good.
The rear was a little slippy on the dry loose trails(thought I had a flat a cpl times), but I think I just had the pressure a little high @ 28psi on the rear.
The front worked well, didn't slip out anywhere.

Was really impressed on a long steep icy up hill. As long as I didn't spin the traction was good.

A friend came over with his 950ADV and had just put the same tire on the rear of his bike.
Looking at the base of the nobbies on his bike I could see 'flexing' lines , he has the stock ADV rim.

I inspected mine(stock SE rim) but did not see any of the flex lines where the nobbies meet the carcass.

Man people are funny... Anyways I'm going to run the motoz's here pretty soon, my buddies have ran them and liked them a lot off road. On the street they said they crack at the base of the nobs on high speed runs or hard acceleration. But come on guys you can't compare a 10/90 tire to a 90/10 tire (street/dirt). And these bike are hard on tires. Best advice I have ever received, from a well respected rider (bigwan), "Erik... Hahaha, you bought a bike you can't afford, get used to it".

Im pretty sure thats the same tyre I have on my 525 - and the tyre wore pretty quick at first (there was a bit of pavement involved) but then started to settle down. Havent ridden the 525 frequently enough to judge the wear-rate of the tyre...

Hmm, I literally just got back from the local shop and was sorely disappointed - no matter how we tried we could NOT get the Motoz to seat on my 4.25" rim. Anyone looking for a brand new 140/80/18 desert cheap should PM me. I'm going back to the 908 which I loved.

They're about the nastiest tire to seat but when you do they're the DEAL. Now..shhh! Let this thread slowly die before the prices soar like the 908's did.

Interesting tire. It has been around for a long time (3-4 years) but yet the biggest Adventure Bike family in the world do not use it (not give it a change maybe).
I ordered a set for my 990 (stock rims) just to give it a try. Set costs less than my 908RR rear. How bad can it be???
I'll post it here if I like it or not soon.

Just bought a set F & R for my SE, from a local shop - they were $195 out the door and he got them in 1 day.

I rode with a 990 Adv rider this week in Baja running a set and he really likes them. The rear was spread out pretty far because of that wide rear rim but he puts a serious pounding on that bike and has had no problems.
