Im looking for some black rocker cover bolts for my newly powdercoated rocker covers and would like some matching bolts.

Im sure Ive seen a Rockster, maybe limited edition, with a black engine and rocker covers?

If I can find the year and model then I can get the part number etc..

Any ideas would be very helpful :-)

    Cheers,

    Andy

Well instead of buying new bolts the Powdercoater is going to powdercoat the top of the bolts to match the covers.

In fact, I used rattle can caliper paint on the covers too (see my WUMPA thread). Clean, degrease, spray, dry, bake in oven, done. Heat resistant and tougher than powdercoat.

Hi Sonny, Ill put some piccies up as soon as I get the covers back, Drone my covers had multiple paint jobs, which were peeling, and so to get the best finish I wanted all the paint taken off and the cases dipped in the special solution used for Magnesium items and as the powdercoating guy specialises in fragile and hi tech stuff he's doing the powdercoat job.

Funny thing is guys is that i was thinking that once the covers are back on the bike, the rocker cover protectors are attached and my engine bars are back on .... well there isnt too much of the actual covers that will be visible!

Hahaha oh well it makes me happy.
