Eastern North Carolina Tag-o-Rama

Since we're playing on the flat side of 95 let's punt it deep into sand flea territory. Bring your salt water rod and sea turtle club. I apologize for the crappy angle but I was minutes away from both ferries that I needed to get me back to mainland without backtracking. I'll call the tag the water tower from the angle of your choosing as long as the town name is visible. You can cop out and drop $20 round trip to take the easy way or earn yourself a rt 12 south sticker.

Damn... should have been watching the tag... I live about 10 miles from that very site.... Even closer by boat.... May have to get the Ocracoke Tag... If any of you FFer's ever in this area and need anything let me know... I am a PM away... Need a place to camp I got a few acres to offer up...

Hey bro been back for a while..... been keeping a low profile. Was nomadic foe a while and am really just getting settled. I don't post much because I dond get to ride much and don't want to be a poser that talks about riding and doesn't actually ride..... may have to keep an eye on this tag though.... I can't believe it was in my backyard... I mean I can almost see that place up the creek...

Oh well just know if there are any ADV types in my area and y'all need anything just let me know....

I just couldn't pass up this photo op, and decided to keep the Eastern tag in a nautical theme.

After a 14 hour day yesterday, I got a tour of Eastern NC, a lot of boat rides and a salt covered scooter.

Good hunting.

This one is safe from me. my grass is knee high.

It is two hours, each way. Tags can only be judged by the time it takes to get there, not the round trip. The race is over once you've grabbed the tag.

Actually, it's closer to 4 hours each way out a basically arrow straight road.

Maybe I'm getting my ferries mixed up. Despite the Manns Harbor moniker, the MV Russell used to be the ferry on the 306 between Aurora and Bayview. Manns Harbor is actually the NCDOT shipyard.

Could this be a trick tag?

Manns harbor threw me. It's a couple hrs from
Raleigh to that ferry. I should have recognised it
My stator died on that boat last year. Had to jump start
My bike to get off the ferry.

I just thought maybe you rode like the reason I got rid of the 954.

Now you guys have got it. : You might find some boats at Mann's Harbour, but not this one.

If you can't get the same picture (might take some diplomacy), just grab your bike and the boat.
