Ok, now I'm starting to get a mental picture of you with a ruler in your hand preparing to slap the back of my hand every time I make a post. You know I am married so I already have someone to keep me in line. :)
This should hit all the requirements. After breakfast with the guys at PBTP, KW and I rode up to Neal Cemetery off County Road 164 to get the tag. It's about 3.5 miles for a crow to fly from Houston, Ms. We passed a lot of hunters on this road. When I say a lot, I mean at least 15 trucks. While KW and I were talking and taking pictures, three deer, about 30 yards away, who must not have seen us, took off after hearing our voices. At first, I thought we were Bruced. Ace was hiding pretty well. Anti did a good job of making sure he wouldn't get seen easily. Just another "bike" shot to cover the bases. We got delayed after a bout with a really muddy, goat path and didn't get to place Ace today but rest assured, he's going to have a new home ASAP.
I wanted to go today, but I couldn't leave until mid-morning and thought 400 miles was a little too much to cover by dark. Glad I didn't head that way.
Excellent grab. I was hoping that Wolfy would get it so it would stay north a little longer. Oh well...
Aw Shucks------------Well you never know where KS and I might put it next Trying to find somewhere evil We almost put it out just up the same road at another cemetary further up in the woods or maybe at that abandoned fire tower ( don't think that KS wanted to climb to the top) but KS thought that would be too evil so we came on back ---we will get him out ASAP
Ok, just to clarify; the bottom 30 feet of ladder had been taken off. That would have been down right mean.
Mean, dangerous, and illegal to climb them - perfect. Good job on the tag grab documentation - ya'll are getting the hang of it.
Yep that would be funny ----911 call to come get two old idiots off of the tower ---even thought about getting some spray paint and painting ADV on the side of the shack on top Oh Well maybe next time (of course ya'll know I would have signed it "Backwoods"
that's easy to climb. we use to climb the one here all the time like that. before someone came in a took the top 3/4 of it off. i have actully climbed to the top with out ever going inside it. now that was fun, yes in my young and dumb days.
Y'all invaded my territory,,,,,you coulda called,,,,,,,ya could a ATE at Jeans Diner.,,,,,SOUL FOOD!!!!!UH!MMMMGOOD Uncle jimmy
Not stuck in a tower! KW and I took a little ride up north. Uncle Jimmy, we hated missing you but it was near dark when we got to camp and planned ahead to cook at camp. Next time for sure! Sorry for the grainy pictures Made them small to fit them all in. Placing ace was the highlight of our weekend, this should be pretty straight forward. And the number for this geological pin is EG1493 Sign the book when you are there. It's in the mailbox.
Well, I think I done fount it, and it just might rival or even surpass a tag I got VERY close to there once upon a time... Well done gents. Sorry I didn't have a chance to meet up with you fellars for some conversatin.
Ha- Shame ya'll couldn't of been with us Sat night ---all we had was cold pork and beans ---N O T!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KS fixed us a real meal --it was quite a site and really good too Yep ---roughing it is HELL
