I hope the weather gets better for you. Supposed to be get sunny and hot on the weekend.
Looks like you are having fun despite the weather and you will definately like the ferry ride North.
We love riding on the Island. If you happen to travel over to Port Alberni and need a hand with anything, just ask.
    Have a safe trip.

Met a local on a Ducati 796 and he took us to Chemainus near the local market. We found this. Great Americanos and pastries.

Missed another rain shower while we were having Java.

Rest stop near Cathedral forest, probably wouldn't have stopped here if we knew how close the forest was.

Its the Drift HD Ghost video camera. It is a standard bar mount unit that fastens similarly as a zip tie, but it is removable. The mount is on a ball type joint so you can position the camera and also tighten it down. Works great, and you can adjust on the fly if you are careful.

Awesome few days of riding...just wish they were a little drier. Some great roads travelled on...the road from Cowachin to Port Renfrew was great. Renfrew to Sooke. .was nice too. Then the "humpback" road incrediable....a must if you are on a motorcycle.

Today...off to Tofino.....in the rain !!! Come on sun !!!!
