Order placed. I plan to use this on my upcoming Accessories DVD, so I am very excited about this. Jim
Must say I am impressed by one of the owners, Lendon. Took super care of me answering questions on my new KTM seat. Can't wait to try it out. Had Corbins and Sargents.......this should be even better.
Hope they can hurry up on the new TR650 Terra seat! I have Seat Concepts on all of my other bikes and they are terrific!
I Just stoped by the shop to get a new seat cover and rack. Robert took good care of me and replaced my stock cover. I have not riden the bikr but sitting on it feels so much better. Thanks Seat Concepts.
It should be included in his sig or on the original post....IMHO....just ordered another, my 690 loves his work and I'm guessing my 990 will be just as happy. Simply type in ADVRIDER.COM (all caps) in the discount code box.
Received my R1200GS cover today. The fabric, CF imitation, looks good, and the foam has a great feel. I'll have it installed this weekend. Jim
The standard height KTM seat in carbon sides and gripper top with orange stitching is simply gorgeous. And comfy as all get out. Have been on Corbin, EE tall soft dirt bike seats, Sargent. Seat Concepts has my business from here on out.
Do you have a "low" seat for the 07 KTM's XC-W's for those of us that are vertically challenged? I use a stock seat which is OK, but if I buy a need a new seat and would prefer the shorter variety.
Rich, we do not have a low version for your bike. the stock pan is concave underneath and there just isn't enough foam to remove any. Now if you had an Enduro Engineering seat, we could make you a low one, they have there own pan that is not hollow underneath. Bundy
Thanks, as comfortable as your seat is on my DR I will likely just buy and use the EE seat. Too expensive to buy a seat and then a foam and cover kit from you. I shouldn't be sitting on the KTM too much anyway
More on the seat recover: Pan minus seat cover and pad. Pads compared. The New pad is a bit taller both front and back, but dished more. It is also slightly taller i front. Hope this isn't an issue as I am short with a 28" inseam. New pad on the pan. Good fit. I would have finished it, but I had the wrong length staples. So tomorrow instead. Jim
Carbon sides with gripper top and fancy orange stitching installed on my 640 Adventure. I cheated and took it to a local upholstery guy.......cost a few bucks, but it is on there properly...............and looks and feels great! Cheers
Installed the seat foam and cover today: Heating the cover to make it pliable in my 40° garage. Installed and stapled the foam, in front staples. Used a bit of glue in the dished part of the seat to hold it down. Great fit! Looks good. The seat is definitely taller than stock, but it feels like it will be more comfortable. I can still get my toes down!
