Bought this a few years ago from the site, some fool sold it to me (his words, not mine - nice guy, great bike)

I just got it a few weeks ago. 1991 R100GS PD, 27,500 miles, $6,490. Suspension has been upgraded and new drive shaft only had 300 miles on it. Rode it 1,300 miles to new home along the west coast and it runs like a champ. Makes a good amigo to my 2013 F800GSA.

... I like the front suspension but I like the grippers on the pannier lids far better. A chick can stand on those lids while he rides in a parade or jumps 50 buses and she won't fall off.

It's a hockey puck and it still lays over way too far. I'm getting a flyingtpot side stand ASAP.

Here's mine - only 26k miles on the clock. It's sat for 3 years now - once I move back to the states, I'll get it on the road again.

Nice sidestand what brand is that ? And whats the feature at the muffler next to the rack?

That's the taxation/registration disc ... required in England. Look for them on every bike in pictures from England ...

The sidestand is a 'Migsel' complete with an Ice Hockey Puck, the other is the Tax Disc which must be purchased each year, changes colour on Jan 1 and costs £78 currently! ($125)
