Dunno what happened. I don't remember much. Thanks for the well wishes it was surreal walking to the hotel from the hospital. I walked in circles until the nurse came out and pointed me in the right direction. https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-p...0F984E-37756-000031D204878885_zpsbc53dfe1.mp4
Jenna- I was worried for you...glad you up and about, and relatively ok..You didn't have to tell the wife as no one here would have ratted you out. Guess you'll just have to drink beer for the rest to the weekend.
Ouch, that chest injury sounds like it'll be some painful shit in the upcoming week or so, kinda like broken ribs--but glad there is nothing broken or worse--of course yer noggin' will be fine, it's probably full of rocks like mine. Get better and back on that mare!

That helmet obviously couldn't hold up to how hard core you are. You were better off moving on to a new one anyways. I ordered some Keihin flat slides. If you've got any advice on how to jet these things I'm all ears. Though I might wait until you remember who the president is before I ask you which jets I ought to run (hint: he's black) I want to hear some rally stories! We should get together next weekend after you've had some time to heal up. Glad to hear you came through this okay! *edit: You must've gone down hard on the left. Look at that orange junk in the cylinders AND the headlight. What were you riding in, nachos?
Watching the video, it looks like The Sand Monster (or cousin to the one down here in the ONF) just reached up and grabbed the front wheel. Looked like the typical single zig, single zag, then suddenly sand nap time. Glad it wasn't worse.
Sorry to hear about your H-S Jenna. Take your time and heal well, hope to still see you next month at the rally in Cruso. Mike
I've had an injury to the sternum. Just try not to catch cold or laugh and you will be OK. The no laughing part for you might just be the biggest challenge. Here's hoping your recovery is as brief as the damage to your steed is slight.
Man ... so sorry about this. Let me know what I can do ... we can wrench and weld ... she'll be good as new. PS - But before that ... rest. K?
Just found the video you posted two pages back... definitely looks like a steering damper may have helped. I tore my sternum a few years ago... you'll be okay until you roll over in the middle of the night... get on the whisky early!
Man sorry to hear this. Bike can be fixed, body will mend with time but read up a bit on concussion protocol and observe it until your symptom free. Heal quickly Jenna.
