Hi there<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> <o></o> Cramming 5 months, 20 countries and 21,000km into a 4 minute video was a bit of a challenge, but I hope you enjoy it.<o></o> <o></o> The ride was from Wollongong near Sydney, Australia to Woolwich in London. I was riding a 2006 DR650 and my wife was on a 2008 XT250. <o></o> <o></o> So crank up your speakers, sit back and hopefully enjoy out little ride. Thanks so much to my sister for the great music and thanks to you for watching. Bloody brilliant!! Awesome trip, your right, the world is a wonderful place just gotta get out there and see it......... Oh yeah, and ignore the newspapers who make is out to be a shocking place....
I am currently reading your book so have enjoyed watching the video to fill in a few 'imaginary' gaps. Thanks.
Yes we had a guide but he was VERY low key and not what you'd think a guide would be like. We used Newland travel for all arrangements. It wasn't too much hassle, just a load of forms with random questions, a load of photos and a bit of cash - $2500, 2people, 6 days inc hotels, guide and guides car/driver. Cheers
Next thing you'll want me to go back and start again but this time with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt doing the starring roles!! No wait, lets get Ewan & Charley to do it. For that we'd only need to add 2 4WD's, 5 cameramen, 20 fixers and Russ Boringham
Ewan and Thingy have nothing on you pair, anyway the book keeps you entertained for far longer (depending on your reading abilities/speed). So for anyone thinking of doing a bit of an adventure, buy the book and help fund their escape from Blighty, and if Will can do it anyone can, although he did have Kate to show him the way.
