WTH? I feel pretty miserable but I think I'd feel less miserable on a bike. I will be there if it cranks.

Great little ride to LC and a good run thru Deep Down back to 51. There is where I sent SOG, Ghost and the new guy on as I had run most of the gravel with out any rear brakes. After a little fluid I made it to Paluxy where i had to clean the carb screens. One of the joys of riding a thirty-one year old bike, but it only takes 5-6 minuets.

Thanks guys it's always fun chasing you around.

P.S. Did I say how much fun it is to go into a right to hot and have to climb on to the car to be your own monkey.:D:evil:eek1:rofl

It was 25 when I left the ranch but it felt colder when I was coming home , mid-40's overcast and drizzling.

No. You didn't mention that. lol

It was strange to see you and feel me trying to help control his bike. Funny what the mind will allow one to see.

Talking about Chicken Fried Steaks, you need to check out Linda's Southern Kitchen located in Granbury. Right off the square , in the SE corner. They have the BEST CFS steak I have ever had. Tender, hand breaded, using only the finest meat. Truly a great CFS. The veggies and PIE are great also. Check it out.

Only open Thur- Sunday. I like Mary's CFS but the damn smoke kills me when eating there.

Tomorrow looks rideable to me. Then again, I ain't real picky. Dirt roads ought to be fun. Anybody want to go anywhere? Doesn't have to be Mary's if that is too far.

New guy did great , i.e. he didn't lose it and he appeared to be having a ball riding that big bucking bronc. ;) I call that a good day.

I mentioned to him that he needs to set his sag and get his suspension dialed in. That much horsepower on that heavy a bike (Vstrom 1k) requires some subtlety that might have been missing yesterday but.... the new guy will damn sure twist the wick to the stops. And coming from me, that might mean something......;)
