Alley Sweeper?

Any news on the Alley Sweeper this spring. I know it is early but a brother has to plan.

It's usually late March/early April. Nothing on the SFRC site.

We rode up from Albany last year, picking up riders at several locations. It was a real hoot, hope to ride the alleys again.

It won't be announced (for good reasons) until a couple of weeks before the event.

But the alley's and unimproved roads are there for our enjoyment all year around

ive seen great posts about this event in the past....how "legal" does a bike need to be to participate?

it's certainly a fungible term. If there's a license plate on it you're probably fine. Not like there's a tech inspection or anything. I bet there are a lot of unplated or "borrowed plate" bikes.

Most bikes on the ride follow the letter of the law.

Man this looks like fun. Hope it doesn't conflict with the Desert 100...

Last year was my first year, it was a blast! I plan to make it an annual event for sure.

Been meaning to attend one of these years!

the "12 o'clock boys". Drug runners took to the alleys on dirt bikes to avoid the popo. Then the popo jumped on dirt bikes too.

It's become part of the culture.

(I'm only allowed to say popo because I lived in inner-city baltimore).

Bbagwell and I ran a few alleys down in Salem today... Getting some practice in...

Salem is to Portland as New York is to Ft. Lauderdale.
