You know the newer two disc hub is with the larger 26mm axle (for 48mm forks) right?

There is an earlier post #84..

The 620 EGS-E Adventure had a beefier rear subframe to allow it to carry the heavier rear tanks like the rallye that it wasn't given for street use... At the time, the EGS-E 620 was the street version, similar to how the 640adv is the street version of the 660 Rallye.. The rear just wasn't changed at the time..

Many replace the rear sub from the later 640 to accommodate a more modern high pipe on the LHS rear..

Have a NEW super rare KTM Rally seat from 1997 620 this is the cover and Rally foam only NO SEAT PAN

This was only on the factory Rally bikes and is blue and white. The production seats for the public were the blue/orange seat with stiffer foam. This is NEW never mounted or sat upon!

Thought I'd toss it out to 620 guys before posting in flea market

    $120 shipped

SWEET! I'm still working on my exhaust conversion so I can save my stock pipes. How did you mount the center stand? My frame looks to have no mounts at all for a center stand. Is it off a 640?

There are holes there but they are threaded. Drill them out and you can mount a 640 S center stand and keep the stock kickstand too

I just threw on a set of 2004 640 Supermoto stock pipes/mufflers... Bolts right up but make sure you get the exhaust flanges too

You still have to weld on the spring return post. Otherwise, he's right, just drill out the frame holes (they're threaded) and fit up any 640 center stand. I had one on for a weekend, lost it in this years desert dash.

Anyone know of a source for a skid plate.. I've picked up a few on the cheap to play with mounting.. Since I'm running the low pipes, there isn't enough space on the rhs where the pipe for standard ktm adv skidplate.

If nobody has one, I'll splice something together

    Thanks

Anyone know if the rally tank, part #5850701304444 - this one
    http://www.bikersjersey.com/product/productinfo.aspx?id=986

will fit on the egs-e... I'm not having much luck cleaning off the previous sticker off mine (its molecularly bonded to the tank, and its faded) so its gonna have to come off and see if it can be cleaned up.. If the rally tank works, I'd use it and take my time trying to clean mine..

    Thanks in Advance
