Like so many others here I never met the man; only known by reputation& what a rep it was! A real legend along the the red headed one. While we will all miss the stories those that knew him will miss much more. Condolences to his family, loved ones & mates. Remember the good times

we were in alice a week or 2 back and had been in the desert for a few days with not much human contact and bill said to me
"There's a hindu belief that it is wrong to look lustfully at the shape of a woman and those that do will come back as a jackall."
It was a warm day and a girl walked past wearing not much and we both looked.
he looked at me and said "we better start practicing aye, yip yip yap yap yap!"
