I got the $40 Bilt Demon gloves. But my AGV Saturns are far superior. The deal breaker for me was that they are not real leather, they are a very thin vinyl. There may be SOME leather, but they do not look like they'd survive a 5ft slide on pavement.

They definitely wouldn't survive. I already wore a hole in the right palm just from riding. I'm trying to find a non-heated glove for my hour long 25* commutes.

I like the looks of the ones on the NCS thread...

Cept some other bills, and getting ready to go snowboarding for 2 weeks, I'd get a pair. I need a new pair of cold weather gloves too..

I don't have 'em but I've heard folks like their Hippo Hands and wear skid resistant gloves inside them. I'd guess you could wear your summer weight gloves in those.

I have the AGV Saturn, which is the same glove Comp Acc sells under their house brand. It's the one without the wrist strap. Decently warm down to the high 30s, and still allows me to feel the controls.

My next winter glove will be the Cortech Winter Scarab. I have the regular ventilated Scarab, and it's been a great glove for several years.

You guys opposed to heated grips? I've run the Oxford ones on my last 2 bikes and really refuse to ever own another bike again without installing these heated grips on it. You'll find yourself kicking them on even in a summer rain storm. I have yet to ride in a temp low enough to be able to use the 100% setting on them for more than a minute or 2 and that's through gloves. Although that is with the Icon Tweenty Niner gloves which are fairly light weight. If it's in the 30's I'm usually running them at the 70% setting and it keeps your hands seriously toasty. About the same price as a good set of winter gloves.

I installed some of the $29 heated grips on my other Aprilia. They were just the elements that wrap around the bar, under your grips. I felt they were great on cool days, but I also found that the more insulated my winter gloves were, the less I felt the heat. Wearing my summer gloves allowed me to feel the heat, but my fingers still froze. Around that time though, I was trying to find some decent gloves, and was going through at least a pair a month.

I'm not at all opposed to putting them on my current ride, but I will admit, I HATE installing them.

I'm celebrating one year of riding my motorcycle! I really wanted to put my bike on top of that thing like Lone Wolf, but upon seeing it decided to wait until my 2 year anniversary...or later...or never. :)

    New Tag

You won’t find this tag in the Lost Horizon’s Himalayas or at Doris Duke’s mansion in Hawaii....(yes, I’ve been googling) but you will find it in central NC. It’s a real Roadside America attraction. We really enjoyed visiting here and imagining how much Mr. Warren must have enjoyed working on this. There is a visitor log on a post standing near it. You can sign in and we really enjoyed reading how people from all over came to see this.

I see they're going out of business. Not sure how they would work on my bike anyways with clip ons and no hand guards.

I may just get heated gloves and be done with it.
