A bit back Tinman commented on lifestyle in Maine. I love the Maine Thread for the diverse group we are, but all of us with the same passion for bikes and the world in which we travel on them.

On returning from NB a week ago, been enjoying some retreat time with the wifey. Primitive cabin in a wildlife sanctuary...no electric, no running water, no people, but the view of Mother Nature was amazing, and even managed to get in some nice little rides too.

Just put a sestconcepts on my Tenere and after 2 long days on the road my wife and I are both happy.

I just went the cheap interim route... Alaska sheepskin and we will see if that helps.

Don't forget heated gear! I finally sprung for a good heated jacket liner and gloves. Also splurged on a wireless heatroller. It was 39F here this morning, and it was well worth the money
