Dirty little move by Wharton on Bowers.

The pay back on that one will be fun to watch.

The ride home was around 32 deg F at around 10 p.m. F'n cold. :vardy Even with heated grips my index finger was ready to fall off.

Ah, Donny Schmidt tribute stuff. Did you know the new style tank decals have small holes in them because the fuel vapors will melt off the standard vinly graphics! Fun fact for the day.

Dungey came out on the rider intros with a Vikings uniform on, got off the bike and climbed into the stands then took off the jersey and threw it into the stands.

Time to watch the 450 main I skipped...

Hill and Stewart were both on the San Manual/Yamaha team that year.

I'm not so sure Dungey was faster. The lapped Suzuki in front RV is what let Dungey past him. He may not have been able to get past RV otherwise.

    Let me correct myself:
I don't think Dungey necessarily would have won. He did catch RV, but RV isn't an easy pass.
When they caught the lappet it was right at the track split, RV had the rider in his way and RD had a clear lane

Maybe, I've watched a little of Tyler Bowers in Arenacross and he doesn't normally let that kind of stuff go, and he seems a lot bigger and stronger than Wharton.

But he also understands being in the hunt for championship points and doesn't seem to be one to hold a grudge so I'm thinking he will just let it go. Even though Wharton is pretty much out of the championship now.

I would like to see him give it a go in the outdoors this summer, don't have any idea about his ability in outdoors national competition though.

I'm pretty sure he was faster. He caught him. I think I read that he was 1/2 sec per lap faster.

RVs excuses at the podium interview were laughable.

Could RC have any more of an obvious man crush on Villipodo. :raabia

It's safe to say JS7 is no longer the fastest man on the planet and it's safe to say RV is. It's also safe to say there is one guy with a realistic chance of beating RV and that guy is Dungey. That was a stunning display of talent by Dungey he was clearly faster and wasn't being denied. If he can figure out how to find that extra gear every time it would make Villopoto's life a heck of a lot more interesting.

:nod His line selection was ever so slightly better than RVs on many corners.

I've always said the Dungey is the best in the business when it comes to cutting to the inside of corners. Man......that dude can corner when there is no real berm. He can find traction in the tiniest rut and rail it.

No way I like Wharton also, I'm not sure what he had his head on Saturday, but there's no way you can clump him in together with the likes of Jlaw and JHansen those two losers are in a class of their own.

I guess Wharton doesn't watch Arenacross. He's going to get a payback, count on it. :deal
Now about Tyler B. I think he's shown he's ready for a prime time move up to sx/mx.

Exactly,I lost a little respect for Ryan V tonight, first he pulled 3 or 4 squid blocking moves when it was clear Dungey was going faster and was going to pass.
Villapoto sliding to a stop trying to block was a novice maneuver.

Then his excuses on the podium? Kinda hard to watch.
    He got beat,it happens.

Lucky for Wharton they dont have rules about knocking people on their ass in Supercross.
That seemed way too obvious and calculated. He sized him up,he took him out.
I would have looked him up after the race if he had done that to me.
