It's hard to sit here in 100 degree weather and read your complaints about being stopped by snow. :D

What I wouldn't give some some snow right now.

Access from Marshall Pass is easy peasy. :nod :thumb

All three US National Forests and the BLM in central Colorado are in Stage I fire restrictions now or will be by Monday. Stage I requires me to carry a class 2A fire extinguisher and a specific shovel type if I operate a chainsaw. These are difficult to carry on a motorcycle along with the chainsaw.

I will stop trail clearing activities until the July monsoons arrive. I will still be riding the trails, just not clearing them.

Made it over Tin Cup Pass today with Colemanfu, had to do some minor trenching so the bikes wouldn't slide downhill. Next weekend shouldn't be a problem to ride through with a bike. Hancock open as well.

Several hours after this pic was taken, the route was widened so an ATV could pass easily.

Wow, a snowdrift, I haven't seen one of those in weeks - that's an endangered species down here. Amazing the difference 80 miles can make. Thanks for the pics Rick, looks like it's time for a cheeseburger ride.
