I recently bought a Giant Loop Great Basin. Noticed that there is only 1 "heat shield" and worm clamp that comes with it. Why would a bag that was designed to be used on big bikes (that usually have a dual exhaust) come with only 1 "heat shield"? I am running Wings on my 950S so have cut down on the heat plus have the stock Gobi racks in place. Do you think I can get away from using the "heat shield" or should I fab another one up out of some thin stainless?

It's universal not just for bikes with dual exhaust and says right on the webpage that it comes with 1 heat shield. If guys with singles paid for 2 heat shields they'd bitch about that. You can always order another.
