Is that the one from Indianapolis? I forgot to answer your message. Looks good. What was the price, if I can ask?

No I hate driving and wasn't sure the old truck would make it to Indianapolis. I was looking online for a ktm690 and found it at Ohio Motorcycle in Cleveland. I hated buying from a dealer but since xmas is so close I didnt have much choice. $3000.00 plus $175.00 doc. fee.
    How was the ride today?

Seems like a good price, especially from a dealer. That defeats the argument someone on here was making about not finding any good used ones for a decent price locally.

The ride was good. I was hoping you'd show. There were 3 of us, we did a nice bit of gravel and one too-gnarly-for-my-tastes abandoned road out of the east side of Wills Creek and 93. We also dabbled in Egypt Valley - I had no idea there were public roads in Ohio with cattle grates and open range cattle but apparently there are in the EV! Amish hair pie for breakfast in Danville, and lunch in Cambridge. I had about 230 miles, I believe Mike and Ben had more since they had 110+ miles of freeway home and I only had 30 miles of gravel and paved twisties back from Egypt Valley...

I really enjoyed today's ride, it was a good mix of every kind or road aroun here. Used the tenere and its hefty bash plate as an ice breaker through some ruts/puddles. At times the sides of the roads were so frozen they looked like they were covered in snow. My day was in the ballpark of 325 miles.

That bike used to be a younger kid's that is on the forum. I am pretty sure he traded it in on a WR450 that he plated and started a thread about in Thumpers.

    Found it http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=822147&highlight=Wr450

No problem. Seems like a pretty good responsible kid. I may not have shared if he was posting pics of it upside down in a ditch. :D

Thanks I spent a few hours today going over it. Changed the oil and the air filter ajusted the chain took all the pollution crap and safty switchs off. It seems pretty clean over all. Went for a ride but it got cut short when the fuel light came on. Might try again tmw.
