    The melodrama is way over the top for this dry Kiwi.

    I've been getting around on two wheels since the mid '60s because it fits my budget. I have seldom owned a car, and rented one just three times in the past ten years.

    Paying cash for a modest motorcycle that is cheap as chips to run sure beats paying off a gas-guzzling behemoth, to my humble way of thinking.

    Beside that........ motorcycling is way more fun.
