I ride because the bike is too damn heavy to carry. But seriously, folks...

Enjoyed the video - and it captures some of the magic. Classic 'boy and his motorcycle' flick.

The melodrama is way over the top for this dry Kiwi.

I've been getting around on two wheels since the mid '60s because it fits my budget. I have seldom owned a car, and rented one just three times in the past ten years.

Paying cash for a modest motorcycle that is cheap as chips to run sure beats paying off a gas-guzzling behemoth, to my humble way of thinking.

Beside that........ motorcycling is way more fun.
