Zion Ponderosa, Utah- Flying Monkey Adventure Rally 2013 Enroute to Toroweap, AZ Grand Canyon North Rim 50 feet from the Grand Canyon Looking down into the Grand Canyon
I was going to ask what year KLR that is but see the "S" on the tank. Isn't that a milk crate? So confused.
Orange juice crate from California hiatus, it's bigger from the front/back.....don't tell the FBI, I could face fines and/or imprisonment **EDIT** If the KLR comment was in reference to the lack of dirt, this was about 300 slab miles into my 400 some, to get to the offroad riding. I planned this trip for months, and the whole southern 2/3 of the state had flooded the few days before, and the DNR closed the trails. So my plans changed, instead of driving 30 miles to the dirt, it ended up being a little bit farther. Ah, whatchagonnado? Stay home?
Just trying to be funny. Seems the idea is that milk crates are specific to KLRs, but now I see orange crates are specific to DRs!
Nice! We have talked about camping down there but I am afraid of getting run over and the mountains around look a lot more hospitable.
We thought about that, we ended up leaving a light on set on top of the tents so at least there was something visible. Truth be told, the entire time evening and morning, I think we saw one other vehicle on the playa. Camping down there was just to neat of an experiance to miss out on.
Damn, everyone one of these pictures is just outstanding to me. I love this thread. Nice photos everyone. My little contribution from 2007: Lexington Kanetucky, National Horse center primitive campground. Escanaba Michigan
