I've got both othe HF metric sets. Do recall which o-ring you used? The thicker ones looked too thick to me.
I may try again today. After pulling it off to inspect it is leaking even worse.:cry

    Stock size is 27.5mm x 2.5mm

The stock o-ring is under $0.35 each from Munn. I'll get some coming today. The original lasted over 25000 miles.:D

Sorry, it's been a few years and I just found something that created a nice seal as it went in.

Mcmaster has great prices on o-rings, and the nice thing is they should be on your doorstep by wednesday.

Found it. 25mmx3.0mm stretches out quite nicely. I can feel how snug it is. Thanks much! Cheers!:freaky

Spent a little time removing luggage racks and pulling a Neduro tank off my 990 ADV.

Really opened up a tremendous amount of real estate inside the left hand bag hanger.

It was a good day for some spring cleaning. New top end on the 300. Fresh shock oil in the 450. A quick rinse on the 990.

Never owned a brand new KTM. Loved my 2008 "R" height model, had it dialed in - then bang! Ped on a bicycle blows a red light in front of me.

Bye Bye 2008 - hello insurance check.

    Stock 2011

    1. Take Home - the Jeep will hold 7,500 LBS as tongue weight. Yes.!

    2. Buy Frakles that got ruined in the crash..

Reused rear bracket after sanding / repainting - saved!!

I love electrical - so why not set up the battery meter, Garmin, Temp Gauge (cheapo). Oh and angel coin for good luck this time...

Gotta have nice footpegs: Pivoting is good once you get used to scraping your toes on the curves...!

    Phase II
    Photos to come..

    - Aux power outlet on side of glove box
    - UNI prefilter - was sooo easy
    - BIG DOG side stand re locator.....gotta have it.
    - BIG DOG Skid plate (slightly used from a 2008) hehehe
    - Heated Grips - Oh ..... Yea......toasty.
    - ADV 2.2 Tank w/ 2:1 pipe (swiped from the old bike before she set sailed to the "yard")
    - Remus single Ti Can (also swiped - it always pays to keep your boat anchor silencers handy)
    - Crash Guards: After the first Oil change, thank you....grrrrrrrr
    - Acerbis hand guards - - just cause I am NOT afraid to fall and I know what it feels like (THUD)

    Phase III

Ran into a CVS and bought some baby oil to replenish clutch fluid that pissed all over my Aerostich through the bad master cylinder seal. No bike shop or hardware store near; the gas station I pulled into only had Cheetos beer.

Now looks like time to order a rebuild kit.

Next time run into any auto parts store for some Honda power steering fluid. It is mineral oil. Been running it for years. ;)

Mine went at about 32,000 miles. Not rebuildable. The cylinder that the piston runs in was fecked. I replaced mine with the Evo. I think they are out of business. Here's a linky to the Oberon: http://www.cjdesignsllc.com/about-us/brands/oberon-performance/oberon-ktm-lc8-rc8-slave-unit/

Looks like Rekluse now makes an adjustable slave: http://blackdogcw.com/black-dog-sho...950-990-adjustable-slave-cylinder-detail.html

    Best of luck.
