That's why I got the spoked rims for our **** roads. Perhaps that's why the GS is so popular over here. (and the fact that you can jump over speedbumps).

Recent small addition: phone holder at the handlebars. Can also be used as aux GPS.

Thanks for posting this. I had the P3 lights (and front facing Photon Blasters) on my 1150. I was planning on putting them on this bike too, along with some additional electrical farkles. I'll be using your website as my guide on the right way to do this. Since I have the LED lights, I may be tapping the trigger of the relay into another circuit.

It would sure be nice if the manufacturer would provide an under-seat pigtail for this purpose so that thousands of customers all didn't have to make the same mod. <grumble>

ugh...have had those on order since mid June and Wunderlich said today on back order till Aug still. How the heck did you get a hold of a set?

A quick question to those of you who have heated gear, but what size (amps) of circuit do you need to power a jacket and glove combo? Will a 10A circuit be enough for 1 person?

I just got heated gloves and haven't needed heated gear in quite a while. I'm hoping 10A is enough. I rarely ran as much as 50% power using just the liner. FWIW the heat-troller is rated for 15 amps.

For those of you with the hard to come by upper crash bars on the 1200GSW, how do yours fit in terms of the distances from the bar to the side plastic being equal on both sides? I recently installed my TT upper bars to the BMW lower crash bars and the TT are not very symmetrical ... more than 1/2 inch difference between left and right.

What's that thing below and to the left of the radar detector with what looks like a grey button?

It is a Sena SM10. This allows my helmet to pick up the voice and sound alerts from the Escort. It also will help in rider to rider communications and you could plug in an I-pod if you wanted. I have music recorded on a mini SD card in the GPS. I like to get everything connected either hard wired or Bluetooth.

I'm thinking 10amps should do a jacket and gloves. I don't own either now, but I'm planning ahead. If its 15amp, then the fuzeblock will be tapped out for 2 people.

From the Fuzeblock web page (assuming you are being specific about the Fuzeblock FZ-1 and not using the name in generic terms).

The FZ-1 has two separate current paths. One is for constant power and the other goes through the relay for switched power. Each circuit can handle up to 10A (120W). The total amperage used via the relay (switched power) should not exceed 30A (360W). The total amperage on the constant side should not exceed 30A (360W). The total amperage for the entire FZ-1 should not exceed 30A (360W).​

This is why I really hope the liner/gloves will work with 10 amps. If not I'll have to add another relay and feed the relay trigger from the Fuzeblock.

I thought the Sena SM10 (have one) could only pair with 1 other bluetooth unit at a time. Isn't that right? If so, you couldn't listen to your iphone music and radar detector at the same time.
