Crittic watch for the big brown truck. UPS sent on Thursday.
Thanks!!! I had them by 10 the next morning.

If Terry finds a Husky kick stand in the parking field, I know the owner.

Brush Poppers are holding firm with our old traditional Bitter End date of first Sunday in Nov.

OU812 Thanks for digging up the old thread and dragging me out of lurking status.

So far its been all land owner eh,eh "discusions".
Chain saws with machetties and ribbon.
Even com-a-longs with chains and lumber.
Some of you know "the fun part" of putting on a event.
And lets not forget the wonderful meetings:kboom :baldy:dhorse

We did get offered a block of rooms at the Days Inn in Rock Falls for a discount rate of $74 per night key word Brush Poppers.

First phone call on the Bitter End brought up a good point, which is no riders allowed under 16 years of age Legal driving age in Il. We will also require a mounted headlite.

Yedmod heard you were in town the day of the BARF ride you should have showed atleast for the time at the Lyndon pub.

I did make it to the Pub, but I was about 5 hrs. behind you guys.

The people who bought my old house wanted the pool taken out and a few other things done around there. And after two years of making payments on that house and my new house I was, for some reason, quite agreeable to what ever they wanted me to do and felt compelled to get it done as quickly as I could.:lol3

Riders Meeting will be manditory to ride this event.!
We can't have riders out on the trails with no idea what the rules are, or even what the trail markers mean.
Talking to riders at the end of the day last year proved this is a serious problem.
Laugh if you want but one [or more] rider has the ability to get us thrown out of several properties very easily and this would be the death of another Brush Popper event.
Details are not in stone yet but best quess is; sign up 7:30 to 11:00 am, first bike out 9:00, last bike out noon, captive riders meetings 9:00,10:00,and 11:00, rider stickers given out after meeting attended,no sticker no start period. I know this sounds like BULL SH*T BUT WE HAVE TO CONTROL THE EVENT OR END IT FOREVER.

Sunday trail work was hectic but fruitful. Personally my forearms look like I lost a fight with a bobcat, damn black locust. Hope everyone will like the fresh cut trails.
