Look forward to meeting you Larry. If I'm not at the Twisted Throttle display in the Marketplace look for me in the Interphone booth. Kev
Hey Twisted Throttle, I recently purchased a new 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere. I am interested in purchasing about $700 worth of accessories from Twisted Throttle. I have signed up for emails and even created an account; and I have watching your website for any discounts or sales on Tenere items. Any discounts available or any sales coming soon on Tenere items? Thank you.
Nothing planned at the moment but you will get free shipping once you hit the $350 mark.... That qualifies as some sort of discount seeing as you are in MN. If you can make it to one of the Progressive IMS shows they hand out 500 discount cards at each event. Upcoming shows: WASHINGTON, DC JAN 4-6 MINNEAPOLIS, MN JAN 11-13 ****** NEW YORK, NY JAN 18-20 CLEVELAND, OH JAN 25-27 NOVI, MI FEB 1-3 CHICAGO, IL FEB 8-10 INDIANAPOLIS, IN FEB 15-17 CHARLOTTE, NC FEB 22-24
Thanks for the message. Not sure I will make it to the Motorcycle show. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and order the items. Twisted Throttle has a good reputation.
Hey Soph9! We have come up with the solution! Check it out.. These are just prototypes. We should have the mounts ready for sale before the new riding season. Please give me a call at 401-284-4200 ext 8131 and I can you get you some more information.
Where are you planning on them going? We just ordered the BMW expensive brackets...saw them on an 800 and look great and he had his lights located exactly where we want them...up inside the front faring by the RAD...
Hi- Curious if anyone here has mounted these on the F650GS. I have a 2003, and upgraded to a drycell battery. Still- I like the low draw of these, as I have heated grips. Interested in how they mount, looks, etc...
These are universal brackets. Basically when we are finished with this product there will be 3-4 different size fitments to accommodate many many bikes. As long as you can find a place to mount to, these brackets will fit.
I think what Shawn is trying to say is that these new mounts are designed to effectively replace an existing 5/16", M5, or M6 bolt and offer a mounting position for auxiliary lights. The most common place to do this would be on the fender. Another location would be to replace a bolt on the nose fairing. As long as there is a fairing stay behind it. Here are some examples using the previous generation of this mount: Fender Mount Fairing Mount I hope this helps. Kevin
