He's out of gas - have you tried to get gas in Asheville/No-gasville?

Don"t want to hold the game up, but I don"t even have enough gas to get me to Black Mountain.

Which one of you has the stockpile of gas at your house so I can keep this game alive?

Since I left the last tag, I feel it's my responsibilty to find a new one.

The lawnmower is hiding in the corner of the garage.

Push the bike out side and take a picture. Charge the person coming to get the tag a gallon of gas to get in the yard to take the pic.

Do like the rest of the fools follow a tanker truck to the gas station and sit at the pump and wait for the attendant to turn the pumps on. Or U could wait in line for 3 hrs only to find out that they sold 5,000 gallons of fuel in 2 hours and 45 mins and that means that U are SOL and that U just wasted 3 hrs that U could have drove down the mtn to SC or across the border to TN and got gas. WNC is the only place in the grand ole USof A that is having this issue. The news 13 is telling U that it is the SE they are full of it. OK I will tell U my lil secert but it stays for motorcycles only I dont want to see a buttload of cages clogging up my AM commute. The Truck Stop on 26 is getting a tanker at about 2 to 3 AM every day so if U get there at 0445 like I do U can get gas and not wait in line. Now back on topic . Brew roll ur bike to a new tag U know like we used to do when we were kids .

According to post #72 U posted at 1447. Do to the gas problem U are allowed 24 hrs +. If there is not a new tag posted by Brew by 1500 on the 24th the tag is Norm's again. At that time Norm U will be given 12hrs to post a new tag. Hopefully sooner so be thinking about one. Hate to be a stickler but others would like to play and it looks like we are starting to get a pretty good following, would hate to kill that do to mundanism (prolly not a word up U know). So Brew steal some gas from the next door neighbor and leave them a $5.

U are correct and I am very bad at math. Lets just stick with it tho. After this if a new tag is not posted 18 hrs after the tag has been gotten the orginal tagger of said tag is allowed to go get a new one and post it up. in other words in the futrue Norm if the 18 hrs expires U have the right to go get a new tag. Does anyone think we should lengthen the 18 hr timeframe. I was just thinking that If U went and got a tag U would just get a new tag on the same trip.

Now that brings up an interesting point.

The ruling on this seems to be different from state to state also...

"When" can the "New TAG" pic be taken?

a) any time...file tags OK for to set the "New TAG" only

b) on same ride (day) that the "TAG" is claimed

c) only AFTER the "TAG" has been succesfully posted (not on same ride unless posting from the road)

d) other...

Well, I did not defeat the gas Gods, but I did steal enough gas from a friends lawnmower to get the next tag.

Clue number one it takes less than a gallon of gas to get this tag from Asheville.
