Its good to see new faces in the winners circle. Its renewed my interest in Super X. Ricky is one of my all time fav racers but sucks as a commentator. The other Ricky.....Johnson, might be a big improvement?
Looked pretty slick--guys losing the front a lot. And it looks like RV might not be trusting his air fork--his get on the gas early in the corners style pretty much requires a planted front end.
Great racing. Barcia really checked out at the beginning... I could tell from his heat race that he was just on it. The field is super deap though and RV/TC/DM were right on his ass at the end. I hated to see Canard fall off so close to the finish. He is way faster than I thought he'd be. Wasn't Bubba fastest in qualifying? Or maybe even his heat race? Seems like he was more tentative in the main event, possibly trying and protect that injured knee. And year, RC's commentating is pretty bad. THere was that one awkward moment last night where Emig asked him something and RC must have been asleep or something because he clearly wasn't paying attention and his answer made no sense. I think the guy knows what he wants to say, but just can't get it out quite right...maybe its nerves, or he's just not cut out for live broadcasting.
I've been noticing that as well............ On another note....Anyone notice how FAT Ricky Carmicheal has gotten?? WTF?
Is he still racing NASCAR trucks? I'm sure they train for that, but probably not nearly as much as they do for motocross/supercross. If he aint racing cars anymore, then he might not be training at all. He does look a bit pudgy.
While we are on the subject of Speed and the commentary crew. On the plus side, that douche Rutledge was nowhere to be seen last night. On the WTF?? side, what were they thinking with showing big highlights of last weeks race in the middle of this weeks? :huh

Yup...it's in that youtube vid posted this morning...they were talking about Villipoto's crashes and trying to blame it on his new fangled forks. Guess there weren't enough crashes during the main after the holeshot so they had to show a few more.
Dungey seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time in both his heat and the main. Sometimes there's nothing you can do about it..... I think he's a fighter despite the announcers saying he needs to ride more aggressively and will be in the mix for the season title by the end of it. .
I read somewhere he had a big getoff in practice right in that same spot that Davalos crashed hard in. Looks like he didn't make the main. PS - am I the only one that noticed that RC was pronouncing Davalos name different than everybody else?
