It was in Lenox mass. At a hotel. I called a guy from Craig's list. The guy actually built the ramp this thing was riding behind.
Game 4 is over.. I almost had it. but another team got there first. Game 5 starts tonight. this military gig is getting in the way www.venatu.com
Yes. .. It was great. Had a guy lined up in the area but my partner was not help with the clues that much. So I didn't have anyone to ping ideas off of.
Took it again! 3/5 so far... and there is a story with this one.. i don't like sharing but Ms Connie had me tearing up today. I had a contact in Cheyenne I was communicating with all night. Bringing him up speed on all the clues and seeing if he had any idea in Carbon County that fence would be. I got tired of Google earth and called it good for the night much like Jenn S. I had no idea where this thing could be and my idea was blown from the early clue at 7pm. I was woke to something this morning around 5am. I checked FB and messaged Bill, aka Nipper. Some thing had to be wrong. No reply from Nipper and I checked my boards. Some one said something about Kimball's Windmills. I opened my map app on the iPad from the nightstand and found Kimball already up. I had looked into Kimball back at Clue VI when Kearney got knocked out. I was 2 miles away at exit 20. I should have pieced it together back then but Robert was traveling. Started texting my buddy in Cheyenne at 0400HRS his time and no reply. By 0800HRS his time I called it quits and found Ms Connie selling a Harley. Ms Connie was slow to start and walked her though sending an email out. Got the pictures or the location to her as we discussed the Harley. She mentioned it was her partner's and he was out of the picture recently. It was his and she needs the money. If you are looking for a 2006 HD FXDWGI dyna wide glide 1450cc... let me know and I'll get you in contact with Ms Connie. She went and recovered the artifact and called me while she unwrapped the "Whole roll of tape" off of it. She realized at this moment everything was real. She asked my religious preference and explained she had been praying for help. She needs the money to pay her power bill by Monday so she will have heat. Ms Connie said I was the answer to her prayers. She had me tearing then and she has me tearing up now. She said I was her Guardian Angel. Thank you Ms Connie!
We were unlucky enough to not take this game. We found the location at Panorama in VA near Luray. Sent the word out to the Cat Herders. The 12" of snow might have cause the delay. Game 7 is Live!
Game 9 has been called. Team Ramrod was able to get Chuck out to Kings Canyon in CA. Chuck is an RT rider and road up from Fresno with the possibility of snow on the ground. Braving the cold he road around. He found a park ranger escorting his wife on an adventure. Chuck stop and said hello. They were both on the same hunt. Chuck saddled up and road around. Judging the picture he determined the artifacts location. He retrieved the artifact and attempted to call Team Ramrod to report the findings. Cell phone coverage was a wash. He stored the artifact in the side and motored away. Coming back in the park ranger and his wife chuck stop to report that the game was over and that he had found the artifact. Chuck explained where he found the artifact and said his good byes to head home. Once he got home he called Dux from the half dollar bill. Game 9 was over. The aftermath of the game was solemn. The puppeteers of the park ranger's wife was alive on Facebook calling for a washout. The game was results were pending. Johnny gave me a call to figure things out and explained the intent of the hour rule. Dux made the call to reward Chuck with $250 and the ranger's wife with $100. Team Ramrod will receive honorable mention along side Team "Art of War" with 37 members. The real winner is Chuck who went out on Easter Weekend for an adventure and found a new book for his coffee table.
Sorry. Too many many rednecks in Bama. They scare me! lol Looks like you're putting your AF skills to good use. What exactly is your AFSC?
Inmates.. I haven't updated this thread in a minute. So off we go... Game 10 has started and is over. Team Ramrod took it again. It was located at a covered bridge in PA. Game 11 has started and recently ended. Team Ramrod once again. I was getting desperate towards the end of this game but we got it. It was found in West Monroe at the Duck Dynasty HQ. Game 12 is the current game. We are three clues in and were given a picture of the drop location on clue on. The picture will be in this post. I try to stay off the forum because the players of the game will search for the photos and be lead here with google image search. However, the game maker is going to be changing some things up. These changes will modify team ramrods ability to secure the win. He is going to make it cost money to use locals to uncover the artifacts. I am not sure how he will implement this but it will definitely effect the way we play. Here is the picture of Game 12's drop. If you know it, I will guide you through the steps. http://www.venatu.com/images/clues/game-12-clue-1-mossy-rock-treasure-hunt-8-track-tape.jpg Cheers, Wade
well Mike... you still can control the action from your computer. That's just about all I've been doing. good luck.. we need to be beat.
Game 12 is over and game 13 has started. Game 12 was won by some random guy that's been follow the game. The artifact was semi recovered at River Styx National or State park in Central KY. That killed Team Ramrod's thought that it was in WV. We had blinders on that game and all be saw was WV... Game 13 is up so we are getting back into it.. I'd like to see this thread turn into a game chat room for each game. Inmates can discuss the clues and work together to recover these artifacts. It's a stretch but with the wealth of Knowledge that each inmate has on his or her area, ADV has this game in the bag. Cheers...
