    :cry Bummer.

The good news is I think you can isolate the problem with the info you gave. Gonna guess something to do with the clutch work.

Pull the cover and show us what you see.

I want to put in a plug here for Dave and Laurie at Timberland Campground in Shelburne, New Hampshire. It was the mystery destination for our 2011 Magical Mystery Tour (MMT) this past weekend and they treated us very well. We had about 40 people and the area they gave us (open field plus surrounding individual campsites) would easily have handled 60, probably more. Dave threw a fire ring into the middle of it and brought us wood. Water and electricity were available at most of the sites (not that we needed the electricity), the bathrooms were clean, the showers large and clean, the swimming pool a big hit on a warm Saturday afternoon and just the right temperature. The cost (per person basis) was very reasonable. If you have plans for a large (or small!) group ride 'n' camp-out, you should definitely put them on your list of possible destinations. (And of course, there's lots of good riding and things to see in the area.)

I am planning (hoping) to be at Hopkinton Sunday morning. In the parking lot at 8am. Probably going to stick to the easier stuff and/or set up something of a track in one of the sandpits to try to find long-lost dirt skills rather than killing myself on the tough stuff. Or at least that's my plan (subject to change).

Thanks for the input guys. Tomorrow, well today, is my bday so I'm buying another KLR...

06 (mine 04) with 7700 miles and several upgrades. For what I'm gonna pay for it - it's worth it and I'll part out the KLR - who needs parts. :D

That sucks. Looks nasty. However, if you are serious, I could use the following for my 2003:

    Hand Guards
    Windshield
    Rear directionals
Maybe other parts depending on what you are looking to part out. Let's talk.
