Yes, it makes you crazy. :lol3

Loving my Gerbing gloves for my daily commute. No more awkward hippo hands and toasty digits.

Heidenau K60 Scout rear mounted Friday on my Wee. Beast of a tire.

Jesse cases in the mail today. Bye bye ammo cans.

Screw the living quarters. 4 bay garage with a pot to piss in would be fine by me. Wife wouldn't be too thrilled, though. Get to SC where taxes are low! You're close enough already!

    Hey ROO
Can you tell me where that gas line is so I can ride it tomorrow?
Let me know if anyone wants to go exploring... ..

Unfortunately, I will most probably be out of action this weekend. Working on Saturday and have to work on filing income taxes (ugh!!!) on Sunday. May try to head back up there on Sunday, Feb. 10th (if I get my taxes filed this weekend).

I'm still sore from Saturday. But I did learn a lot about riding a 2 stroke... :rofl

I'll be up in Charlotte this weekend. I'm free Saturday morning until about 2 or 3pm if anyone wants to ride. I can bring up the KDX or the F800GS depending on the type of riding. :clap

In the afternoon, I'll be teaching my girlfriend how to ride on a TTR125! :eek1

I need to learn to get more comfortable with my ktm 950 - just bought it and usually I'm in Charlotte on the weekends. Can a big 950 ride the trails @ TNT or CAW?

Looking at the trail map it looks like we should be able to get the Great Pumpkins on most of the trails at Carolina. If I can get a free day here soon I plan on going down to try. :deal

Post up when you figure out a day and time and I'll try to make it.

Any takers for Saturday riding? Thursday night I'll be flipping the coin on what bike to bring up on the trailer with the TTR125 if I don't hear anything.

Am planning to head back up in the mountains west of Morganton on Sunday to finish what we started two Sundays ago -- the Ice Road Bikers ride -- now that the snow/ice has melted. The ride will include approximately 40+ miles of dirt/gravel roads up in the mountains near Table Rock, Linville Gorge and along Brown Mountain Beach Rd up to Mortimer.

For anyone interested in joining the ride, meet at the Bojangles beside the BP just off of I85 Exit 14, Bessemer City Rd/Rt 274. When you come down the ramp, turn left (North) onto Bessemer City Rd/Rt274 and the Bojangles is 100 yards on the left.

Planning for a 9:30 AM kickstands-up departure from Bojangles. Will stop and get lunch somewhere along the route during the day.

Just checking in to note that I am still alive and breathing!

It's been a busy year since I sold the WR, but all means to an and:

Just closed on a new-to-me joint late last year, a fixer-upper not far from where I was living previously (in fact, the BPG trails are less than a minute away :clap). Lots of work to do (mostly cosmetic), but the privacy, acreage and location are ideal - plus I enjoy re-habbing and have all the tools to do it right.

Hopefully by this time next year I am back on a dual-sport and showing folks the trails again - in the meantime I hope to host a few shindigs up here in the near future.

Congrats on the house man, that looks great! I sold my dirt bike to help us buy our house last year, totally worth it. Like you said you'll be back on two wheels soon.
