    It's a relatively basic set-up on the bike;

    - Giant Loop Soft pannier Bags and the Mojave Set up backwards...

    - I broke my wunderlich screen so used the screen bars as a GSP and Phone mount

    - assorted Touratech Hard Pars/protectors (came w bike when purchased)

    - Touratech mini turn-signals / fold down mirrors

    - Pre-Filter

    - Markus underseat tank

    - Home made GhettoGadget snorkel for Markus Tank

    - Flexx Bars-

    - Rear license kit

    No problem, but the guards will tear away from the cylinder after a few slides on hard dirt, or asphalt. On the right side, only the rear and bottom middle mount are still in tact. It still provides protection for minor drops.

    I think the best protection idea is the engine guard bar protecting against slides, and the TT guards protecting against punctures on rocks.

    The lower mount can snap off - taking bits of the cylinder head with it :cry

    I also was unimpressed with the TT guards. The mounting tabs are thin and break easily. After repeated JB Welding, I pitched them and now just have crash bars.

    If I wanted to replace them, I'd probably go with the Machine Art Moto guards:

    Just for the sake of balance in opinions, I have had great luck with the TT guards through lots of drops and one LONG distance high speed slide on pavement. The tabs do give up over time but do their intended job of keeping the guard located correctly (sorta like the Velcro in your armor). I would feel really uncomfortable without them and would not want the extra weight of crash bars for the kind of riding we do.

    Im not unhappy with function and life-span of the TT valve cover guards. They are pretty tough and very light. Eventually they grind down or tear away from the mounts.

    Crash bars might be in my future. I have stripped almost everything off the HP2, except the airbox. This HP2 will never be light enough for trail work.
