Looking for a campground close to Asheville airport...

    We need to find a campground that is close to the Asheville airport..
    I know this is going to sux...
    But I we have some buddies staying at the Clairion Airport Inn in Fletcher,NC.

    North mills river is the closest but it will likely be full.

    What day/time are you flying in?

    You can maybe get a site there is you come mid morning on like a mon-tues-wed

    We are NOT flying in ...
    We live here in SWVA...
    Our friends are all staying at the Clairion Airport Inn...
    We might just camp on the BRP and ride back and forth....

    Very limited # sites at Powhatan but it is a perfect spot 5min from BRP & 15min to airport

    Was thinking of Mt Pisgah or Lake Powhatan ( 31 tent sites) That's close enough to the airport for me....
