Well the true reason is the political instability in Egypt, rally safety just could not be guaranteed, but I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will have a field day, especially with the French link :D

Laia Sanz seems to have a ride for Dakar but has said today that she is not ready to make an announcement. Could we see the announcement at Morocco ?

Next challenge? 'I'm tired after a crazy weekend. I need a week off to recover physically and to begin preparing the Dakar 2014 in full conditions. It's a test that I love, which I have long way to go and this year I hope to be better prepared than ever. After 13 titles in trial I have come to recognize as much and now I find new motivations in enduro racing and the Dakar. - What project can move dakariano? -small thing. The Dakar is expensive and we are working to go with a good structure and a good bike. Still I can not give details, but I hope that is not a project only to the Dakar, but also for the entire 2014 season enduro.

Any guesses as to what team ? :lurk

The position into Morocco - not sure why Brazil pulled double points, but it has certainly made it a 2 horse race and a race for sure - can't see Coma slipping up though ?

Did not realize that ASO was getting that involved in taking people/tourist to the Dakar rallye, is it something new? I know they had something for rest day, but did not know for the other options...

He wasn't real clear [or perhaps coy] about if he had been on the new bike yet. His plan is after ISDE to go train with Coma before Morocco. I will be seeing him next week and that is one of the first questions I will be asking. :deal
