Ken I think you should and do it as a skid oil tank combo. Please my bike doesn't have enough of your parts yet. Just tested your tank again on another 1200 mile Baja ride and it's great.

It's never runs hot. That underseat tray is one big oil cooler...

So, what does it take? Here's a photo review... just quickly looking through these pix I see a kit would require at the very least a custom tank, oil lines, oil line adaptors, new exhaust heat shield/rec mount, custom skid plate, right and left radiator supports, custom mud flap, support frame mounts, smaller battery and of course an EXC style wiring harness.

So, smartasses, what would you pay for such a kit? Knowing that you'd have to replace your whole wiring harness and weld on the frame? I only ask so that I can laugh and laugh and laugh... :rofl:rofl:rofl

    Have a look-see...

That oil tank is a work of art, nice job. This type of customization is way past bolt on and ride. Reality checks are in order for some inquiring minds.

This type of customizing is a slippery slope (see sickness)....and needs to be stopped....:lol3:lol3...

At least bikes have fewer parts....

If this kit existed, which it won't, you could conceivably transform an Adventure into an SE if you also purchased my gas tank kit and had access to an SE sub-frame (and a few other bits I'm sure...) :D
