Isn't this the system ASO currently uses?

Since there is a refuel at the start of neutralisation and just at the WP, is it possible the riders drive past the waypoint again after refuel and by this activating it again?
This could be an explanation for all the timing issues

No, they built it in such way that you can't toggle it on/off.

Dabrowski is showing 60' penalties, I think it's two engines for him and Despres's original is already in the KTM truck shelf.

Chaleco 8.14 up in the stage and 8.15 down in the standings. Tracker looks fine from where I am sitting ;)

Yeah, I thought so as well. That's why they used it and not one from a factory bike (who were all on the originals at that point)?

why all the fuss? Lopez penalty not yet assessed....maybe he can make the podium, but the winner is probably a done deal unless he breaks his bike or crashes...

There was a rumor saying that such was the case, but that never stuck in the end.

Laia seems to have lost around twenty places between WP2 and WP3.

I still wonder why they both got a 15min penalty for swapping engines between riders that are still in the race. Should be allowed IMHO.

I'm pushing for this rule in 2014 and will enter myself, sporting a fancy new bike, probably a side car in which I'll stock some spare 450 engines. ;)

Credit cards taken on the course ;)
