I planned a ride for next Sunday Feb 24th, We'll meet 9am at Wild Horse cafee here to be exact:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.796945,-112.242229&num=1&t=h&z=17 Plenty of space in case someone wanna stage there.
It's mixt terrains ride include rock, sand, uphills, downhills & possibly some splashes from water crossing (i hope:D)
There's is exit points if someone decided to bail out for whatever reason. There's a gas station in Peeples Valley to get a snack/gas. Here's the link of route:
https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=...Q;FdrwBQIdMQRO-Q&mra=mi&mrsp=1&sz=14&t=m&z=10

It's rocky on the way up, Sandy on the way back. Suggested cc displacement for these terrains is 250 to 650cc.
Forcast called for fair weather for Sunday maybe a little colder for Yarnell.
Get ur bikes ready [IMG]and let's ride [IMG] ...[IMG].

Just a heads up… There is a locked gate on your route near Stanton.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
There are now several houses / mining camps just South of the intersection of Stanton & Mina Roads. They have installed fencing and locked gates. I have tried to go around but it gets really tough and it’s much easier to follow this li’l detour.
At the intersection of Mina & Stanton roads go East on Octave Road to Angels Ranch Road. After a short distance you will see powerlines, follow them South until you get back on your original route.

When I was last in this area there are several miners most are friendly but some have mean damn :eek1 DOGS :eek1 that run loose. So watch out for them!

I was gonna post that earlier, i am sorry Julio i'll have to postpone that ride till next Sunday i miss riding with u as well. My wife hurt her arms few days ago and it's not getting any better which i thought it would and this can give me some time to get out & ride. I'm on a slow 650R.Just can't stand those CRF450s. At 64 years young I need something easy to ride.
During the 2012 SCORE season we raised $40,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. We are continuing on to raise more in 2013.
