Possum I love that area, pretty impressive snow melt down there for April. Last year there was no getting through there for quite a bit longer...

Lets hook-up and ride! I just buggered up my seat pretty bad trying to shave off an inch for my stumpy legs... just ordered a new one tonight, so I doubt this weekend would work, but I can ride anytime (during the week or weekends, whatever works best for you). I really want to meet as many local inmates as possible for day riding or longer trips out to the Alvord or Steens, I'm up for anything, I've got adventure in my blood!

I'd love to hear more about the Desert 100, saw the pics on here, it looks awesome!

    Thanks -- Nice Dizzer!

How far up there did you make it before the snow turned you around? You can't make it over to 3 Creeks yet, can you?

Not too far, where the was shade there was also snow. You're right can't punch through just yet but I don't think it will take to get the melt on. This has been such a dry spring I even had to water the yard today! I can't remember watering in April in central Oregon before.

Great road to Lava Lake. (All clear!)

The road up to Kwolh Shelter. Made it about 2 miles before the shelter. Could have gotten around the tree with some work but the road was blocked ahead by snow anyway.

Was going to head to Little Cultus and check out Irish and Taylor Lakes snow level but I ran out of time.

No pics, but the power lines are rideable from Wanoga Butte back to road 41. :clap

Looking for a little help from you guys in the area. Thinking of doing Ashwood Gosner in the morning. It rained off and on most of the day
at my house on the wet side of the Cascades. Did you folks in the Madras area
get any rain today and if so do you think it was enough to mess with those roads
    Thanks

I'm not in that area but it's been so dry the roads likely dried out quickly.

Sorry I can't help you. I'm sitting in Ouray CO drinking coffee, having just ridden the million dollar highway.

    The weather here is awesome....hehehehe.

About to ride HWY 50. I'm not bragging... really.

Give me another week+ and I'll let you know if it's raining in Madras.

It rained enough here in Bend yesterday to get things wet, but it's already drying out. Not sure what it did up north.

There hasn't been enough rain here in Madras to keep me from heading that direction. (If I had the time:cry)...

And a few more from some riding with Mr. Dual Sport, I got to show him the fun way round to Ashwood and the long way back to 26
