No, the OEM damper is going in a box next to the SAS and charcoal filter.

So that looks like a scotts rubber mounted sub mount...but the folks from scotts told me they're not building a mount for the 1190 and have no plans to do so...?..

    How'd you mount your pin?

I think that's the coming soon part. Looks like there is room between head tube and tank for a pin mount of some sort, either bolted welded or clamp.

We're putting something special together. The factory damper is more of a detriment off road than a benefit. We need an adjustable free-to-center solution.

Cool well if you need a beta tester let me know. I've had a scotts on all my bikes and you're right, the lack of damping back to center is a critical feature missing from the oem damper.

I would say the fact that its not free to center might have a lot to do with it. I like the fact the Scotts help hold the bike straight. Especially in the sand.

Ken, keep up the good work. By the time my love affair with my 950 fades out you will have these things dialed.

I like those billet qd's for the fuel system. Question though; I am running crash bars at the moment, do those qd's get in the way of the crashbars? Do you billet qd's for when you remove the left tank?

    Cheers:freaky

Are you looking for product for a 9XX bike? Either way the QD's clear all the crash bars regardless of model....

Yeah, yeah, sorry about that. I was referring to 990. What about a billet qd for the left tank to the engine?

You mean a straight in-line connector? I'm considering it... not sure how much demand there is, although the BMW guys could sure use one.

    Hey Ken,

The 1190 stuff is looking great! Any chance we could get you to build a GPS mount that will hold up to some off-roading? I like the simple design of the Touratech mount but the reviews so far do not seem very favorable. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Jim
