Merry Christmas guys, saw a guy on a black(07) KLR coming up riverwatch this afternoon..looked like he had a ADV sticker on it..any of you???..nice weather for riding right now.

I did some work to the KLR a few weeks ago because it was starting to cut out a little(first trouble I have ever had with it)..pulled the carbs checked my valves cleaned everything..now it does not cut out, tuns great, but I developed a mysterious sound that comes and goes.. will get to bottem of this...

My speedo quit working (38.979) a long time back, long story.:D

How many miles are on your KLR?:ear

Good luck getting to the bottom of things, those type things can really bother a man.

I sure am glad you're back, Wrangler!

    Merry Christmas, folks.:wave

This is posted on the regional forum. I am cross posting here to make sure youse Augusta Guys and Gals see it. Roger's home, in Wasillia, AK, is a stopping off spot for many riders who are vacationing in our biggest state. Roger's tag line, "The first beer is on me" is all that most need to make the stop. Roger has also helped riders by accepting shipments of tires, making his shop and tire changing machine available, and picking up spouses at the Fairbanks airport. Roger is a former sled dog racer who also enjoys riding. Come on over if you can.

Yep went and got myself published. It seems like yesterday that I was posting to this group about my first ride to Sumter so I’d figure that I would share one more first with you. Take care and happy New Year.
