Was an adventure, just to clarify Gary and I were the support crew, but that turned into a race of its own wrenching and playing leap frog with the trucks. One of the two trucks was in constant repair of something, late nights and lots of miles but we did it. We saw the Baja top to bottom and back again, now we know all the good spots to go back to, of which there are many. The trucks were two 1984 military blazers purchased in Texas by some guys in Phoenix, we had to drive them all the way from Phoenix and back, probably 5000k round trip. Gary and I were in an 88 blazer, all diesel engines. Good one <IFRAME height=315 src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tSV6upC3v9M" frameBorder=0 width=420 allowfullscreen></IFRAME>
I am planning the EAOR road ride and need to find a couple of wineries near Hillcrest, ON (anywhere in that area really). Its near Prince Edward south of Elmhirst Resort. That's roughly the turn around place for the road ride. I googled it and there are plenty of places but I am looking for a decent place for lunch with good beer and decent wine. Maybe a couple of places would be good. I can check them out for space, parking, etc. Any recommendations? I'll try a couple of them out this weekend. Thanks in advance.
Don't worry - Ron, Peter and Brad will set on the right path here....discuss it with them Friday night.
You'll notice, tempting as it may be, I kept my hands to myself............. Actually, first pose I didn't and a quick slap kept me in line
Since Lornce is in the oil patch, I'll act has his un-official mouth piece... "Ya, but you'll need to lower it Robbie" DW
