I am trying to get to a beach as soon as possible. I was wondering if anyone else had the same idea. I could leave tomorrow or in a couple of weeks. Places of interest and places to stay are always welcome, but I am really seeking a traveling partner.

I'm three weeks ahead of you. The beach is nice! West coast or east?

Just to let you know, from this Saturday the 12th through Easter Sunday the 20th that's Holy Week (Semana Santa) and pretty much everyone in Mexico is on vacation and the beaches and their hotels fill up fast. Just a heads up. Depending on where you go it might be tougher than normal to find a place to stay.

    Have a safe trip. :clap

Mazatlan, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Riviera Maya, Huatulco, Manzanillo, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, they'll all be full of not just Chilangos but Mexiquenses, Boxitos, Culichis, Guanajuatenses, Jalicenses...etc etc etc. :D

The city is usually much more pleasant during Christmas and Easter weeks. Not exactly empty, but way less congested. It's a great time to visit the DF.
