How do the sliders actually work? I've always debated sending mine in to add that but then I wonder how they would actually work since the legs aren't all that tight (and of course if I should really be dragging knee in something other than full leathers).

When I used to have a garage full of crotch rockets they worked well enough.

The idea for me wasn't to "grind the knee puck into the pavement" (which would move the stitch pants around) but more of a distance gauge. Coming fast into a corner I would get off the inside of the bike with the knee out, feel the puck touch and be able to gauge where I was at while lifting my slider back off the pavement (or lightly skimming it). I don't know if I ever touched a knee on the pavement in Texas.. but it was a regular part of riding when we would run up to Arkansas :ricky

I never found a situation on the road where I'd be pushing on the puck like I did on the track (usually with both tires sliding trying to keep the bike from falling over cuz I had it all wrong and was heading for the pickies :rofl)

thanks for the excuse to post old racing photos: :norton :D

Nice clean trailer, with ramp (although no pics of the ramp - my bad). Can negotiate regarding the hitch lock (I've used it on many a trailer!).

New lights/wiring, swing-away tongue jack, spare tire, and suspension (albeit a springy one!). Wide trays measure about 72" long, 4" wide at the front chock. Perfect for dirt bikes/small-med street bikes. Used it to bring a bike home, and it worked like a champ.

Clean title in hand. $400 for inmates. I'm in Paonia, but can possible meet you somewhere in between. Take a look at the pics and shoot me a PM if you have questions.

Hey all. I'm looking for a 'starter' truck camper in the $1500-$2500 range if anyone know of one for sale. Been keeping my eyes on CL of course, but the good ones go pretty fast! Looking for one that's 8' long. Pop-up style is ideal, but I could be swayed by the right hard top. :) Thanks!

Should have specified I'm up in Longmont and hoping to find something local (maybe 2-3 hours of drive would be okay for the right camper though) ...preferably one that doesn't need any work (this is a wife requirement...she doesn't want to get something "we" have to fix up haha).

I have some gear that's collecting dust.

Fox Raceframe Large. Good shape. $50

Alpinestar Tech 3s. Good shape. They smell good still. :deal Size 9/43. They seem to run a little large. I usually wear a 10 and these are a snug 9 with thicker socks. $100

*****SOLD********KTM 950/990 adv seat. Suede upper with carbon fiber look sides. In perfect shape. I found it much shorter than the stock seat. It made the cockpit a bit more cramped (hips hurt on long rides). It is more firm and plenty comfy. This would be a good saddle to lower saddle height on a 950/990. new 150. $75

I've got a few items for sale. Prefer local pickup (Loveland) or delivery within reason.

BMW F650 seat that was re-worked by local seat guru Steve Gowing. This seat is awesome and it's about the only thing left from my stolen Dakar. I had the Corbin on it the night it was stolen and the Gowing was fortunately locked safely away as this seat is far superior to the Corbin IMHO.
Very comfortable seat with gripper insert. Perfect balance of cushioning and grip.

The seat is in perfect condition and I'm asking $170 or best offer. Come check it out and slap it on your F650 and you'll buy it. For real, it's that comfortable.

As a bonus, for the lucky buyer I'll throw in these F650 fork springs. I'm not sure if they really are the progressives, or if the progressives got mounted on the bike and these are the originals. Either way, if you buy the seat you can have the springs!

Fulmer Modus Modular helmet, Men's size Large

Barely used at all. Got it as a backup, or "friend" helmet, but I don't have many friends, so it hardly got used at all. $50 or best.

I have a Shinko 705 off the front of my VeeStrom. 110/80R19 It just might not make the trip next week. It's a bit cupped, probably 60% warn out, but would get you by for a couple months. Just come and get it. I'm near Southglenn Mall.

I have a Hallmark Milner LX model I may want to sell - I was looking for just a a bit over your stated budget - but not by much.

My PU is listed on CL (2003 chevy 1500 w/ 110 K) which was outfitted with air bags and mounts for the Camper. I was trying to decide if I really wanted to sell the camper, as I like it so much, but I am thinking it may be time for me to get a larger trailer camper.

Anyhow you can PM me if you want to chat about this Pop-up.

Edited to add picts. Please note that these are historic picts - the dates on the photos are generally correct - I had to go to my pict library for several views. I can take some new picts this weekend if you seem interested.
