Tent storage and bicycle

A friend from work will be in Alaska in a couple weeks and she needs to find a place in the Anchorage area to leave a tent for a couple weeks after their trip so another friend can pick it up a couple weeks later when they come through. Any locals have any ideas on a good place to leave a small package (friendly hotel, store, person, etc.)?

Also, I'll be back in the area 6/30 through 7/5, but not with my motorcycle this time, as I fly in to hang out with my dad and his friend while they fish their way around the state. I'll probably just hang with them most of the time, but if I get bored it might be nice to go for a bicycle ride or two. There are a few rental places in the area, but I thought I'd check and see if someone had a cheap loaner kicking around they would loan or rent out for the week.
