Just goin' down the list Meat... this thing is getting pretty comprehensive. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few KTM/LC4 techs that have used it for reference... nor would I be surprised if someone from the KTM service department has taken a look or two.
Information from the field is always useful to a manufacturer.

If you'd a took better care of them... you wouldn't need to replace 'em. :evil

What... you don't like $100 US for two Timken bearings? :poser

Thanks for the feedback creeper, it needs some housecleaning, organization, and a few things added (and maybe some silly stuff removed) but it is getting big... :eek1 Thanks to everyone for their assistance (and continued help). :thumb

My only complaint about the whole thing is (I didn't figure) that by putting this index up I eliminated many of the simple link queries, which eliminated many chances at the usual inane banter among us :cry Maybe I should yank the thing down so we can get back to it? :deal

Any chance to beat corporate KTM's outrageous markups so shouldn't it just be a case of measuring up said bearings and calling one's local bearing suppliers for a "compatible"?

Wasn't suggesting that people register! Just another source of LC4 user data that may be of use to a few people.. Your call! :D

I have a request into Arch for either an override on the 20K character limit, or possibly insert a second meaty post directly beneath the first for Part Deux! :lurk

Got your PM, Meat. I can't find a way around the 20k per post limit, but have asked in the mod forum for idears. Gimme some time, I'm on it...

    Here's a round-a-bout solution:

Sticky just a link to the index as a separate web page (hosted where? here?), which in turn takes you to the linked thread :lol3

As a separate page, no character limitation and all the benefits of HTML. Easier to use, searchable, page links....

Maybe it's not such a bad idea after all??? Meat, you know how to write HTML right? You up for something like this?
