Does anyone know if this is a free standing type tent? - ie: it does not have to be pegged to stay up?

worked well

silly aerial we lost

I;m taking it back

it gave me bad results.

owned 1 about a year,used about 6-7 times.great tent!!

I've still got one of the yellow ones they sold 3-4 years ago. It's been used 4-5 times and holds up ok.
I think I paid $30 for it. At that price, it's done it's job already.

User feedback on this please. Is it a POS?

I had the original version of that lamp and it was definately a POS!
Save your bikkies and buy a Black Diamond

POS... the battery compartment separates from the body ... the contacts from that to the rest of the lamp oxidize over time and you get intermittent contact. Same model from Radio Spares ... POS.

I've a Black Diamond about 20 years old .. the switch rubber is worn through, I've had to replace the wires from the battery to the LEDs ... still going ... I'll buy another of these.

went and got one too..and an air mat..not to bad...tried it out today..OK for now and im sure it will get me through ... and rolls up pretty small and light

Seconded on the trousers, I haven't been game to use them in much rain but I've used them in pretty cold weather and they were excellent.

I got the Aldi tent to add to the collection of tents - Mrs Buzzhead doesn't understand why I need so many (do I ???)

Anyway I must have got a bonus with the tent - as the advertised 2.5kg tent weighs in at 2.79kg. I haven't worked out what bonus I got though. Tent looks good for for the price.

i like how we all got the same tents...and we all put it up the same way and you guys have the same deck as i do...amazing!..
