Not nice to set your friends up like that :evil The rider is wearing the colors of the PRD.... face too dark to recognize, not that I would recognize him anyway.

Well, here's a hint, he's a little too young to be Bob Seger. LOL! But he knows how to import a Harley LOL!

"On a long and lonesome highway,
    Northeast of Naolinco,
You can listen to the engine,
Moanin' out his one note song..."

Jimmy (from the "Jimmy ride") knows him, but Jimmy, like Donny and Schizz, are all sworn to secrecy. They know the handshake LOL!
By the way Schizz, Donny, the mystery guest, and I all decided to name the ride over the mountain here as "the Jimmy ride".
    Take a bow, JimMex.

I just met an adventure motorcyclist here in San Ignacio, a.k.a. Cayo, Belize, who seems to know all the cool backroad rides around here.

Amazing what sitting at a gas station for a few minutes with full dress panniers will do for making new friends! :D

Leaving Cd. Victoria after I get the Grand Tour of the grounds by Gustavo (the former mayor) who now runs the place. Las Fuentes is becoming the nicest hotel for the price in this area. And Gustavo rides a GS so it's bike friendly.

Gonna check out the Anzalduas Bridge on my way home.

Hey Schizz! You know what they say about those ladies and GS1200 BMW's, neither of them are broken in until they've got about 20,000 miles on them.
Was she burning oil, too? LOL!
I think her idea of "all the gear, all the time" is slightly different from the norm.
But who am I to pass judgement? LOL!

Guess I'm not as ATTGATT as I thought.

    But my rings are seated.

Passed a GS with full boxes leading an R1200 touring bike northbound towards Tampico yesterday.

Anybody know who that might be?

Someone with no regard for their safety?

    Mexico is dangerous, I've heard.

An area near and dear to my heart. Is Las Fuentes down In the Centro or elsewhere in town?

The Anzalduas is one of those elevated concrete marvels. That project stalled for something like 20 years and then once McAllen realized that they needed to either build it ASAP or lose the rights to a crossing they started to move pre-fabed sections in quickly. It's maybe 2 miles long and soars over the hinterland, bypasses a good chunk of Reynosa, and quickly connects to the toll road to Monterrey.

    Enjoy!

Schizzman stopped in here for a couple of hours at Casa Tricepilot on his way from Cd Victoria to Austin :freaky

He'll be back here on Friday to help with the overnight bbq cook as we get ready to feed the hungry masses on Saturday at noon.

A hot shower and his own bed and he'll be one happy camper very shortly :deal

Welllllll, Sunday's run from Veracruz to Cd. Vic kinda tuckered me out a bit so I didn't route myself well going into Reynosa today. Ducked onto the old bridge and filtered to the front. Everyone was cool with it due to the heat so I crossed quickly. Next time....

Las Fuentes is on the south side at the fork in Hwy 85. Real easy to get to from any direction. Was nice place 2 years ago and even nicer this time. They're really making a class hotel of it. General mgr rides a GS. Worth every bit of $70/night. Highly recommended for riders passing through the area.

Trice, ask Schizz for the DVD I gave him to "pony express" to you.
I think you'll find it interesting since you like diving.
The "edecane" used in the shoot was interesting from another perspective or two. LOL!

Thanks Mike, he brought it here last night. I'm about to pop it in the DVD right now.

Hope its really a diving video and not something you forgot to take out of your camcorder :lol3
